FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at www.bbc.co.uk/competitioncode and all BBC Worldwide Limited (“BBCW”) competitions comply with the Code.
  2. The competition opens on Monday, 26 March 2018 at 9am and closes on Wednesday, 28 March 2019 at 11:59pm.
  3. Open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of the BBC, BBCW, their subsidiaries, agencies, members of their families and anyone professionally associated with the competition. If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to enter on your behalf.
  4. Prizes are classified “U” rating and suitable for children aged 4 years +. There are 10 prizes available for 10 different winners and all 10 prizes will be the Hey Duggee Stick Badge DVD.
  5. Entrants will need access to the internet and should enter via the Hey Duggee Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HeyDuggee by replying to BBCW’s post with the correct answer to the following multiple choice question: “Chew Chew is the name of which type of animal in Hey Duggee? A) Octopus, B) Tiger, or C) Panda”.  Emails or other forms of entry will not be accepted and entries received after the closing time or date of the competition, or incorrect entries, will not be eligible.
  6. Only one post will be counted per person. The 10 (ten) winning entrants will be chosen at random through a random number generator from all the correct “comments” after the closing time on the closing date. BBCW’s decision as to the winners is final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into. The winners will be notified by BBCW within 3 (three) days of the competition taking place via a Facebook private message. The winners will need to respond to the private message from BBCW within 3 (three) days to confirm the UK address to which they would like the prize to be sent. If any winner cannot be contacted or if BBCW has not received a response from any winner within 3 (three) days of notification of the win by BBCW, BBCW reserves the right to offer the prize(s) to another correct entrant(s) selected at random.
  7. By entering this competition, entrants agree: (a) to be bound by these T&Cs; (b) that their name (as appears on Facebook) may be available to other Facebook users; (c) that should they win, their name and likeness may be used by BBCW for pre-arranged promotional purposes; (d) to a complete release of Facebook; (e) that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook; (f) entrants’ details will not be disclosed to Facebook.
  8. BBCW will only use your personal details in accordance with the BBC Worldwide Privacy Policy at  https://www.bbcworldwide.com/home/privacy/
  9. Your data will be collected and used only for the purposes of administration of this competition. The winners will be asked to supply their postal address in order to administer the prizes.  BBCW will not be liable for any disruption, delay, strike action or incorrect delivery by any postal or courier service.
  10. There is no cash alternative and the prizes will not be transferable. All prizes are subject to availability. BBCW reserves the right to swap the prize for a different prize of equivalent or greater value should the specified prize(s) not be available.
  11. Events may occur that render the competition, the prize draw or awarding the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of BBCW and BBCW may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the competition and entrants agree that no liability shall attach itself to BBCW as a result thereof.
  12. BBCW reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
  13. BBCW excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the competition or occurring to the winner(s) and/or guest(s) arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
  14. The competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
